Headwaters Park offers 70 acres of nature to explore, with more than 3 miles of walking trails winding through forests, meadows, wetlands, and along Mill Creek. Open year-round from sunrise to sunset, it’s a popular spot for families and dog owners.
Behind the Conservation District Building, you’ll find a Nature Play Area, Community Garden, and picnic facilities. To the east, an ADA-accessible Pocket Park features native wildflowers, the Memorial Tree Trail, a wetland demonstration area, and a covered picnic table.
Many trails are ADA compliant, while others have compacted soil, grass, or bark mulch surfaces. An outdoor classroom sits a quarter-mile along the main trail, and a three-season pavilion is available to rent for events.
