Milestones Children's Consignment is evolving.
The store has always been my family's go-to place for gently-used high-end designer children’s clothing. It also always has a huge treasure trove of gently-used toys for kids of all ages -- all at prices well below what you'll find in a department store.
Milestones, however, has become so much more than a consignment shop under the ownership of Christina Bell. Along with its high-end consigned merchandise, the store also offers:
New merchandise.
Milestones now carries high-end boutique toy store brand new items, including Melissa & Doug toys, wool dryer balls, amber necklaces, green detergents, and high-end teethers. The store also encourages and supports local women-owned businesses by carrying Erie-made products including weighted blankets, all-natural soaps, and bow ties and jewelry.
Regular programming.
Milestones offers a full range of programming, from fun events like story times to educational events like Babywearing 101.
"I offer programming that I want as a mom," said Christina, who has three children, ages 10 and under.
A party room.
Milestones just opened a brand new Once Upon a Party" room in the back of its store. The one-of-a-kind room features imaginative murals by Taradoodles, and even a "secret" bookcase entrance sure to thrill your kids. It's the perfect spot for birthday parties, showers or any other event, and at just $45 an hour it's super affordable too!
A new business!
Milestones recently acquired Once Upon a Party, Erie’s premier princess party performers! The princesses specialize in party visits and community events where they incorporate live singing and performing. They're sure to bring magic to your next party or event! They're also growing their ranks: Along with favorites like Moana and Snow White, performers now include Spider-Man and Batman.
