Looking for family-friendly New Year's Eve and New Year's Day events in the Erie area? Here are four Erie New Year's Eve events happening Dec. 31 and Jan. 1  that are kid-friendly. Click on the links for more information.

Friday, Dec. 31

Noon Year's Eve at ExpERIEnce Children's Museum

Celebrate 2023 with ECM! Don’t miss out on the last Noon Years in the current museum. There will be balloon drops, entertainment, and lots of fun as they count down to the Noon Year! Choose from two sessions: 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. or 2 to 5 p.m.

Noon Year's Eve at Blasco Library

Can't stay up late, but still want to celebrate? Join in the Noon Year's Eve party at the library! There will be fancy snacks, games, and a ball drop as they count down to 12. Wear your best New Year's party clothes — or your pajamas, whichever you'd like!

Erie Otters at Erie Insurance Arena

Come cheer on your Erie Otters for their special NEW YEAR’S ROCKIN’ EVE event! Donning a one-night-only specialty jersey, the Otters will ‘blackout’ 2022 as we prepare for the New Year.

First Day Hike at Asbury Woods

Celebrate the New Year at Asbury Woods! Join in on a New Year’s Day for a 1 - 2 mile guided trail hike. Dress for the weather! If there is over 6 inches of snow they will use snowshoes – bring your own or use Asbury Woods equipment.
