What kid doesn't love exploring the outdoors?

Summer 2020 has gift-wrapped an opportunity to discover new outdoor places in Erie and here is a perfect opportunity to challenge yourself, friends, and family: Erie County Park Bingo.

Through September 30th, the community is challenged to visit nine public parks throughout Erie County and take a selfie at the entrance sign. Here are the nine parks included in Erie County Park Bingo:

The goal is to encourage everyone to explore a new place, get to know natural Erie County a little better, and get some fresh air!

Erie County Park Bingo is a perfect activity for all ages and abilities, as each park has ADA accessible trails, plenty of parking, and beautiful views.

Some parks offer additional amenities, such as the labyrinth at Frontier Park, a self-guided scavenger hunt at Headwaters Park, and the additional ability to kayak/paddle at Eaton Reservoir. All parks have space and tables for bringing your own picnic if you like.

All participants over 18 that complete their selfies in the nine parks and email it to kcurrier@erieconservation.com will have their name placed in a raffle for $200 worth of local gift cards!

The park managers are very enthusiastic about collaborating on this project, and have been thrilled to see the number of visitors coming through the parks enjoying the beautiful weather and facilities.  We look forward to seeing new visitors to each park, and ask that patrons follow each park’s rules during their stay, along with social distancing and respect for others.

See you in the park!
