Asbury Woods presents the annual honey bee event, From Hive to Honey: The Honey Bee Story. The event is scheduled for September 18 and 19 from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. at the Andrew J. Conner Nature Center at Asbury Woods.

The festival celebrates the wonderful honey bee and the vital role it plays in agriculture, pollination, and the food chain. From Hive to Honey provides fun, educational opportunities for all ages in an outdoor setting.
Kids and adults alike will delight in the honey extractor demonstrations, learning how to harvest honey from a honeycomb, and watching our bees in action. Vendors will be onsite with local seasonally produced honey varieties, beeswax products, beeswax skincare, and gifts. Learn all about the science and social life of the amazing honey bee!
