About Asbury Woods: Asbury Woods is naturally a great place for your child’s next birthday party! We have a variety of new birthday party themes for little nature explorers and elementary school-aged adventurers. Parties can be held year-round!
All Birthday Parties Include:
- 1 hour with an Asbury Woods educator who will lead your child and their guests on fun nature-themed activities
- 1 hour of room rental for refreshments, cake and presents
- An Asbury Woods pencil and honey stick for each child attending
- 30 minute setup time prior to the party and 30 minute cleanup time after the party
Birthday Party Themes to choose from:
On the Wild Side – Ages 3-14
Have a wild time at Asbury Woods with our On the Wild Side party! This party includes an up-close and personal animal show featuring 3-5 Asbury Woods ambassador animals and your choice of an age-appropriate, educator-led animal papercraft or group animal game.
Art-Tastic – Ages 3-14
Is your child a budding Audubon? If so, this party is for you! This party includes an educator-led nature art project for each child and a meet and greet with one of the Asbury Woods ambassador animals. Dress to get messy!
Wacky Science – Ages 6-9
Mini mad scientists will love celebrating with our Wacky Science party! Children will be visited by one of our resident mad scientists for a fun and wacky science demonstration. Then, after the show, the scientist will lead the birthday child and their guests through a hands-on science experiment of their own.
Nature Detective – Ages 6-9
Does your child love hunting for clues and solving mysteries? Party guests will put their knowledge to the test on a guided hike to look for tracks and signs of animals on the trails, then finish off their guided activities by meeting one of the Asbury Woods Ambassador animals.
Snow-Stompin’ – Ages 6-14
This seasonal party makes the best of our winter weather! This party begins with a quick snowshoe lesson, then a snowshoe hike on the trails before coming inside to warm up and meet the Asbury Woods ambassador rabbit, Oliver. Note: The use of snowshoes requires 6 inches of snow on the ground.
Campfire S’mores – Ages 6-14
Celebrate your child’s big day in the ultimate nature way with a campfire! This party includes use of the fireplace in our outdoor pavilion (firewood and s’mores materials provided), a guided hike on the trails, and an educator-led outdoor game.
Night Owls – Ages 8-14
Your child will have a “hoot” of a good time celebrating their big day at a Night Owls party! This party includes a guided night hike, a nocturnal animal game, and an owl pellet dissection. Note: This is an evening birthday party.
Low Ropes Adventure | Ages 9 and up
Our low ropes course makes for adventurous and physical birthday party fun! This two-hour party includes a 90-minute facilitator-led low ropes course adventure where party guests will work as a team to conquer physical and mental challenges. Note: This activity is weather-dependent and only available May-Oct.
Pricing
- Standard birthday party: $150 for up to 12 kids in a standard classroom
- Premium birthday party: $200 for up to 20 kids in a larger classroom or the outdoor Pavilion
- $4/child additional fee for materials for Art-Tastic, Wacky Science, and Night Owls
- Low Ropes Course Birthdays have special pricing: 6 – 14 kids: $175.00; 15 – 30 kids: $225.00; includes a half-hour in one of our covered spaces.
