During this time of limited social gatherings, The Hagen History Center would like to invite you to experience a classic Mothers Day English Afternoon Tea from the comfort of home while participating in a virtual presentation, The Language of Flowers: The Secret Code of Flowers and their Colors.
Enjoy a traditional afternoon tea of freshly made scones, lemon curd, tea sandwiches and dessert, in a lovely take-away box. Participants will also take home a small flower and flowerpot from Potratz Floral Shop & Greenhouse, Inc.
Guests may pick up their take-home tea box and flower at the Watson-Curtze Mansion on Sunday, May 9th between Noon and 1:00 pm.
Our virtual Mother’s Day Afternoon English Tea party will begin at 2:00 via a ZOOM meeting. You will have the opportunity to enjoy your luncheon with fellow tea party participants from the safety of your home while viewing our presentation, The Language of Flowers: The Secret Code of Flowers and their Colors.
