Camp Fernwood is an all-girls residential summer camp located in Poland, Maine for campers ages 7 to 15. Founded in 1921, Camp Fernwood is rooted in the four principles of living simply, enjoying the beauty and wonder of natural surroundings, nurturing tolerance and unselfishness, and developing loving, lifelong friendships.

Camp Fernwood's 6.5 week, single-session program is intentional, allowing for friendships to form, independence and resilience to develop, and girls to fully immerse themselves in the complete camp experience.

Camp Hawthorne Ridge in Girard Township boasts more than 200 beautiful, wooded acres and features overnight day camps, travel camps, and family camps for girls entering grades K-12. Girls don't have to belong to a troop to attend summer camp. They can join as an Indie Girl Scout for just $45 and enjoy camp, plus any other activities or events that interest them throughout the year!

Step into the shoes of global leaders, tackle pressing issues, and enhance your public speaking and debate skills this summer! The Johns Hopkins Center for Talented Youth offers rigorous, fun, three-week summer day and residential programs at 11 U.S. locations. CTY has 70+ courses in math, science, writing, and the humanities, plus activities like talent shows and dances. Year-round online courses are also enrolling.
