Looking for things to do with kids in Erie that are free in November? You've come to the right place! Here are 10 kid-friendly and family-friendly events this month in the Erie region that are absolutely free. Click on the links for more information:

🍬Halloween Candy Buy Back at Beautiful Smiles

Turn in your candy for a cash prize and a goody bag full of gifts from area businesses (while supplies last). The collected candy will be donated to Operation Gratitude, which ships candy to troops. Thursday, Nov. 1.

🍪Cookies with Santa and Mrs.Claus at Milestones

It's the first Santa sighting in Erie! Milestones invites families to chat with the Big Guy, have a cookie and color a picture. Pictures with Santa are free -- take as many as you'd like! Saturday, Nov. 3.

⚽️Indoor Soccer Clinic at Erie Bank Sports Park

This free 90-minute Brazilian soccer clinic is for kids from 5 to 16 years old. Registration required. Sunday, Nov. 4

😓"Tough Topics: Grieving Children" at Blasco

Navigating the loss of a loved one is a mountain no family should climb alone. If your child is tackling the grief of bereavement, know that there are resources available in Erie County. Join experts from the Highmark Caring Place for a talk and kid-friendly activity. Tuesday, Nov. 6.

🔬Science Story Time at Behrend

You're invited to bring your preschooler to Penn State Behrend for story reading, interactive activities, and scientific fun. Each session includes a story reading and hands-on lesson by Tracy Halmi, associate teaching professor of chemistry. Registration required. Thursday, Nov. 8.

🐲Dungeons & Dragons at Blasco

Join The GeekErie in exploring this fantasy role playing game. The core of D&D is storytelling. You and your friends tell a story together, guiding your heroes through quests for treasure, battles with deadly foes, daring rescues, courtly intrigue, and much more. The GeekErie will guide you in developing your character and participate in a full campaign over the course of two-hour game sessions. New players are encouraged to come learn this exciting game. Ages 12-17. Saturdays, Nov. 10 and 24.

📐Family STEM Night at Tom Ridge Center

Bring the whole family for hands-on, fun and interactive STEM activities! Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics with an environmental emphasis. Learn how STEM is applied to environmental situations and how it is relevant to our understanding of the natural world. There is no fee for this program, but registration is required. Thursday, Nov. 15.

👩‍❤️‍💋‍👩Create a Holiday Hug at Blasco Library

Children are invited to create a holiday hug with artist Deb Sementelli! The artist-in-residence at Blasco will draw a life-size image of your child that can be colored then folded up and sent to a loved one for the holidays! All materials are provided. Friday, Nov. 16

🍂Families Go Hiking at Presque Isle

Bundle-up the family and visit Presque Isle State Park for a kid-focused walk along the natural trails. Walk is approximately 1-mile in length. Dress in layers with comfortable, tread sturdy boots. Meet at the Presque Isle Lighthouse Parking Area. Saturday, Nov. 24.

🎄Gingerbread Man Ornament at Home Depot

Run, run, run as fast as you can to this hands-on holiday workshop where you and your child can assemble a gingerbread picture frame that doubles as a Christmas ornament. Perfect for gifting or adding to the family's heirloom holiday decor. Once the picture frame is built, your child can decorate it with paint and holiday stickers. Saturday, Nov. 24.
