No Fishing License Required in Erie on Fish-for-Free Days in Pa.

Fish for free statewide Sundays, May 30 and July 4

By Kara Murphy April 27, 2021

Pennsylvania's fish for free days allow residents and non-residents to legally fish on Pennsylvania waterways, including Lake Erie, with no fishing license required.

Pennsylvania's 2021 fish for free days are Sunday, May 30 and Sunday, July 4.

Fish-for-free days are proceeding during the coronavirus crisis, but the state is urging all who fish to respect a six-foot distance from others on the waterways.

All other fishing regulations still apply.
