UPDATED! Where To See Outdoor Movies in Erie County This Summer

Watch outdoor movies at city parks, Goodell Gardens, UPMC Park this summer

There will be plenty of opportunities during the summer of 2021 to see great outdoor movies in Erie County. So round up the kids and get ready for some cinematic magic! Bring your own chairs, blankets and refreshments ... and don't forget the bug spray!

Movie Nights at UPMC Park

Movie Nights at UPMC Park are back! Admission is $5 per ticket (plus a $1.50 per ticket online ordering fee). Children ages three and younger receive free admission and do not need a ticket. Click here for more info. More movies expected to be announced but for now:

July 24: Toy Story

Movie Mondays at Perry Square

Family-friendly movie in Perry Square! Feel free to bring your own chairs and blankets and spread out in West Perry Square to view the movie on the stage. Hosted by Erie Downtown Partnership. 

The lineup includes:

July 26: Clueless
Aug. 30: Enter the Dragon
Sept. 27: Westside Story

Riverside Saturday Movies at Comedy Center Park in Jamestown, N.Y.

These Saturday evening celebrations presented by the National Comedy Center will be happening throughout the summer, and feature activities for the family, a new outdoor Riverside Bar and Cafe, and free comedy movies on two big screens.

Limited seating is available, so bring lawn chairs and blankets. 

July 3: Groundhog Day
July 10: Sister Act
July 17: Monsters Inc.
July 24: Airplane
July 31: Blues Brothers
Aug. 7: Classic Lucy and Desi

Movies Under the Stars at Goodell Gardens

Movies Under the Stars series at Goodell Gardens returns for three Thursdays in August. 

Dates are:

Aug. 12
Aug. 19

814 Day Family Movie Night

Enjoy a full-length feature film in one of two City of Erie Parks for an evening of family-friendly entertainment. Movies will start at 9 p.m. at Frontier Park and McClelland Park on August 14. Vote here through June 30 for the movie you'd like to see!
