Discover the Best Holiday Lights in Erie, PA : Your 2024 Guide

From nature-inspired displays to downtown sparkle, these free events will brighten your holidays!

Now that our record-breaking snowstorm is past, holiday lights are starting to twinkle throughout town. Events delayed during the storm, including Downtown D'Lights, Winter Wonderland at Asbury Woods, and the Presque Isle Lights are back in business! Find updated post-storm 2024 details on those Erie events, plus a map of the best residential holiday lights in the Erie region, below! 🎄✨

🎄FREE: Winter Wonderland at Asbury Woods

  • Through Dec. 31, 2024 (except Dec. 24 & 25) 5:30-8:30 p.m. 
  • The boardwalk adjacent to the Andrew J. Conner Nature Center at Asbury Woods will be lit up for the community to enjoy a peaceful evening stroll on the boardwalk through the woods. Holiday lights will twinkle in the woods and wetlands along the boardwalk which covers 1/3 of a mile. While you're visiting stop by the nature center to view the animal exhibit, browse holiday items for sale in the expanded gift shop, and visit the sprawling holiday-themed model train display. Free. Donations encouraged.

🎄FREE: Presque Isle Lights

  • 6-9 p.m. Fridays through Dec. 29
  • The annual fundraiser for Presque Isle invites visitors to take a self-guided evening driving tour of seasonal lights at Presque Isle State Park. Tune into Classy 99.9 for your favorite Christmas hits while you enjoy Presque Isle after dark. Free. Donations encouraged.

🎄Downtown D'Lights

  • Starting Dec. 6 Delayed due to storm. New date: Dec. 13.
  • Perry Square and surrounding downtown businesses are all lit up during the holiday season, with the big kickoff event happening Dec. 6.  Dec. 13

Erie's Best Holiday Lights

Thanks to a Facebook group called Erie's Best Holiday Lights, you can easily find Clark Griswold's house! Don't miss their 2024 4th Annual Driving Trail of Lights happening Dec. 14! My family did this event last year and had a really great time visiting local homes all lit up for the season:
