Erie's Neighborhood Art House Offers Free After-School Classes

Classes are open to children in the city of Erie

The Inner-City Neighborhood Art House, 201 E. 10th St., offers a free after-school program for inner-city youth living in Erie. The program provides a wide variety of arts education classes for youth ages 7-18. Classes begin Sept. 13 and continue through Dec. 10. Class size is limited to 4-8 students per class due to COVID and are filled on a first come basis so sign up now! 

Types of Classes

There are more than a dozen different classes available in the following subjects:

  • Arts
  • Music
  • Performance
  • Literature
  • Environmental Action

Some examples of classes include foundations of drawing, beginner hoop dance, intro to airbrush art, piano lessons, ballet for beginners, and digital photography. There are many more!

Classes meet Monday through Friday. Parents can choose the time that works best for their family. Options include:

  • 3:15 - 5:15 Option 1 (Two 1hr Classes)
  • 3:15 - 4:15 Option 2 (One 1hr Class)
  • 4:15 - 5:15 Option 3 (One 1hr Class)
