Summer Days at Port Farms has become a new favorite annual tradition for my family. Want to go? Here are five reasons to begin visiting Port Farms Summer Days as a part of your family's summer tradition:
1. The photo opps
You can immerse yourself in acres of u-pick sunflowers, cosmos, and zinnias during Summer Days at Port Farms ... and talk about Instagram opps! While we were there, we saw people doing all sorts of photo shoots, from senior pictures to adorable mommy-and-me photo shoots. Plus, Port Farms is dog-friendly, so bring your pooch to pose in the peonies!
If you go:
Summer Days is open Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays through Sept. 8.

2. The take-home flowers
New this year: A bouquet of PYO flowers is included in your general admission fee! That includes a Mason Jar to hold your flowers, which is awesome. We brought home four bouquets and they've been a cheerful pick-me-up all week long around our house. You can save a few bucks by choosing not to bring home flowers — it's $5 off general admission if you don't choose to take home a bouquet.
3. Hours of play
Seeing my kids wander through the flower fields was magical, but that is far from the only attraction here! Many of your kids' fall favorites are open during Summer Days and are included with the price of admission. You'll find endless imaginative play opportunities at Kids Village, lots of places to run, climb, jump and slide, and friendly goats ready for a snack. And that's just to start! In all, there are 25+ attractions open during Summer Days that kids of all ages will find fun. We were there four hours, and still didn't hit all the fun!

4. The yummy food and drinks
Whoever plans the menu at Port Farms does a stellar job! This season, the imaginative menu at Port Farms has included Fruity Butterfly Funnel Cake, Pomegranate Boba Lemonade, a smokey s'mores root beer float ... what can't-miss specials will they have when you visit?!? Plus, Poverty Knob Farmhouse Ales are always on tap in the Beer Garden, or you can visit the on-site brewery for a great lunch, which is what we did. We could go on .... but you get the idea. Come hungry. And thirsty.
5. And... did we mention the flowers?
There's something special about getting lost in acres of beautiful and colorful flowers. Happy bees are buzzing, beautiful butterflies float from stem to stem, and everyone is smiling and having a great time. Port Farms is truly a special place to make memories with your family as summer winds down in Erie.💛
