School is back in sesh for all of us now, which means if you have school-aged kids you might not be seeing much of them lately! Ramp up the family fun this weekend with these five event picks.
1. ☀️ Summer Days at Port Farms
This is the final weekend for Summer Days at Port Farms, so you can't delay any longer! You won't regret a visit here — it's a great time for all as you immerse yourself in acres of u-pick sunflowers, cosmos and zinnias and play on the 20+ attractions that will keep the kids entertained all day. Friday-Sunday, Sept. 6-8

2. Waterford Community Fair
Pet some animals, ride some rides, and eat amazing fair food at the Waterford Community Fair. Through Saturday, Sept. 7
3. FREE: Edinboro Highland Games
Fiddle championships, Clydesdales, kids games and crafts ... it's all this weekend in Edinboro at the Highland Games, the annual weekend long event that celebrates the rich traditions of Scotland on PennWest Edinboro's picturesque campus. All events are free to the public. Friday and Saturday, Sept. 6 and Sept. 7
4. FREE: Pokémon Club Fall 2024 at Blasco Library
Kids ages 6 and up are invited to the Library's Pokémon Club! Come play games, trade cards, and make friends. If you don't know how to play, they will teach you! Saturday, Sept. 7
5. FREE: Second Sundays at the Erie Art Museum
The Erie Art Museum is open free the Second Sunday of each month. Along with free museum entry, there is always a fun family craft to take part in. Sunday, Sept. 8d
