As a mom of kids who seem to outgrow their clothes overnight, I constantly find myself with bags of barely worn garments, toys no longer in favor, and books read once and then forgotten. Simply giving away these once-loved items often feels like a missed opportunity, especially considering how much I invested in them. That’s why I love to consign at the Sunflower Sprouts Consignment Sale—a twice-a-year pop-up event in Erie that lets families earn money while giving their children’s items a second life. Want to join me in consigning? Read on to find out why you should join the fun, and how to do it!

How It Works
Selling at Sunflower Sprouts is simple! Here’s your step-by-step guide to turning clutter into cash:
1. Sign Up as a Consignor
First-time consignors, sign up here! | Returning consignors, sign up here!
The $20 registration fee helps cover event costs and gives you exclusive perks, including early shopping access on Thursday night from 5–9 PM. Bring a friend to shop with you! Plus, consignors (and a friend!) can shop early and get great discounts!
Hurry to register! The last day to enter tags is April 26! Here are more important dates for consignors to know.
2. Prep and Tag Your Items
- Minimum: 25 items
- Maximum: 350 active tags
- Seasonal Focus: This is the spring/summer sale, so pack up the coats and bring out the swimwear, shorts, and outdoor gear!
The tagging system is user-friendly, and you can even use voice entry to speed up the process. Price your items wisely—infant clothes tend to have more competition, while toddler to teen sizes sell for more. Consider selling big-ticket items like strollers, cribs, and swings for a bigger payday!

3. Drop Off Your Items
After tagging and printing your labels, attach them securely using safety pins or tape (for books and toys). Once you're ready, you'll schedule a drop-off day at Sinai Sports, where the sale is held. You can even schedule your timeslot in advance to make drop off a breeze.

4. Get Paid!
Once the sale wraps up, you'll receive your earnings electronically. Just in time for summer fun!
