1. Scary Creature Feature at Asbury Woods

Experience the magic of Asbury Woods at night with the Scary Creature Feature, a fall family event full of fun and education. This event includes activities, storytelling, and a guided walk where guests encounter and learn about nocturnal creatures that live in the forest. While not-so-scary, these creatures are fascinating to discover under the cool, crisp autumn sky. This is the perfect opportunity to explore the woods at night with the whole family.

2. FREE: Artful Pumpkins Workshop at the Neighborhood Art House

Unleash your creativity at the Artful Pumpkins Workshop! Design a pumpkin for fall décor as part of the Art House's Second Saturday event in October. Perfect for all ages, this workshop provides all the art materials and pumpkins you'll need. You bring the creative ideas, and they'll provide the fun! This event is free, but donations are always appreciated to support community art programs.

3. FREE: Lighthouse to Bayfront Day at Dobbins Landing

Join the Erie Western Pennsylvania Port Authority for a day of free family fun at Lighthouse to Bayfront Day. This pop-up event at Dobbins Landing includes free trolley rides, free entry to the Erie Land Lighthouse, fishing, food vendors, and Bicentennial Tower ticket giveaways. The Erie Fire Department will also demonstrate their rappelling skills down the tower!

4. Fall Fest at Peek’n Peak Resort

Celebrate the beauty of autumn at the 36th Annual Fall Fest at Peek’n Peak Resort! This popular event features more than 100 vendors, a farmer’s market, live entertainment, children’s games, pony rides, and the thrilling pumpkin cannon. Enjoy scenic ski lift rides to take in the fall foliage and check out the classic car cruise-in and annual snow sports equipment sale. This is the first of two weekends for Fall Fest.

5. FREE: Second Sundays at the Erie Art Museum
