Led by certified educators and developed according to Pennsylvania Learning Standards, each class combines fun with skill-building opportunities. Whether you attend a single session or an entire series, every class offers a standalone yet cohesive learning experience. After each session, participants are invited to enjoy free play in the museum, extending their creativity and discovery! 



Class Highlights and Details

Toddler Classes (Ages 18–36 Months)

Schedule: Tuesdays, 10:30–11:15 AM (includes 1 hour of free play in the museum afterward)
Fee: $14 per adult/child pair; museum members receive a 10% discount

Designed to support early childhood development, these classes focus on fine motor skills, language growth, and social-emotional milestones. Caregivers and toddlers bond through interactive activities inspired by exciting monthly themes:

    Explore the magical works of Jan Brett, featuring enchanting tales such as:

  • February Theme: Folk & Fairy Tales with a Twist

Schedule: First Friday of each month, 12:30–2 PM (includes free play in the museum afterward)

These dynamic, hands-on classes explore STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Math) concepts with fun, interactive experiments. Participants will also receive take-home materials to extend the learning experience. Upcoming sessions include:

    Learn how the heart pumps blood by creating a circulatory model that mimics the body’s functions.
  • March 7: Matter Masters
    Dive into states of matter with thrilling dry ice experiments and interactive science challenges.

Note: STEAM classes are drop-off programs. After class, caregivers can reunite with their participants to enjoy the museum together.
