The Erie Art Museum Invites Kids to Explore "The Secret Life of Objects" at two summer camp sessions!

We are thrilled to introduce our latest camp tailored for children ages 7-12: “The Secret Life of Objects.”

This innovative camp focuses on the boundless potential of recycled and found materials, led by renowned artist and educator out of Santa Monica, CA, Aaron Kramer, with help from local artist and tinkerer Sarah Howard and EAM staff.

Kramer’s exhibition Sense of Wonder is open now at the Erie Art Museum, so students will be able to interact with the exhibit and have a first-hand view of what it really means to create art objects out of recycled materials. We will provide heaps of reclaimed materials, real tools, and a guided imagination quest to safely find the secret lives of the most mundane objects.

This camp will start with tool and safety training and lead to an imaginative place where kids are empowered to think creatively and build as large as their imaginations.
