Description
The summer season brings opportunity to Presque Isle State Park. One of the best ways to take advantage of the sights is by bicycle. Join the Park Naturalist at the Cookhouse Pavilion parking lot to participate in a bicycle tour of the park. We will ride approximately 9 miles around the park, stopping on occasion to discuss bike safety, history, and the flora and fauna of Presque Isle. We expect the tour to last about two hours. Bring your own bike or rent one from the nearby concession. Don’t forget a water bottle and sunscreen. For safety reasons, we ask that riders wear a helmet; for children under 12 it is mandatory.
The program is free of charge but bicycle rental fees do apply.
Space is limited. Click the green button for online registration, requested (at http://events.dcnr.pa.gov/presque_isle_state_park.)
