A celebration of Freedom in the African American community.
We will gather on June 19th at noon to protest excessive force by police and to march for police reform, a FUNDED minority economic task force, improved hiring practices in Erie county, the City of Erie, and Erie’s Public Schools.
We will start at 12 noon June 19th in the Perry Square and silently march in unison wearing or “uniforms” to the courthouse steps. We are asking the elected officials to be present so that we can present our list of demands. There will be the singing of the national Black Anthem and a few very brief remarks.
