Description
The annual fundraiser for Presque Isle invites visitors to take a self-guided evening driving tour of seasonal lights at Presque Isle State Park, 6:00 - 9:00PM.
2022 days of operation:
- Thur. – Sun. Dec. 1-4
- Thur. – Sun. Dec. 8-11
- Thur. – Sun. Dec. 15-18
- Thur. – Fri. Dec. 22 and 23
- Thur. – Fri. Dec. 29 and 30
We welcome drive-thru donations at the 2nd parking lot where event programs will also be distributed - admission is free - please offer your support!
It takes about 45 mins.- 1 hour to complete the full 13-mile park loop. You will encounter from the comfort and safety of your vehicle the following along the way:
- the natural beauty of Presque Isle after dark
- illuminated areas where power is available
- a decorated historic Lighthouse
- the brightly shining Erie skyline seen from across Presque Isle Bay
- and plenty of darkness - the park is about 3,200 acres. (an average city block is about 3 acres) Yes, Presque Isle is BIG!
Hot cocoa will be available for $2 on Fridays & Saturdays
Limited lights will be on during Christmas Eve and Christmas day as our staff and volunteers will be off duty these days.

Lights turn on at 6:00pm. Park gates close at 9:00pm.
