The 2023 Panama Rocks Foliage Festival is Saturday, September 30 and Sunday, October 1st at Panama Rocks!
WHAT TO EXPECT AT THE 2023 FOLIAGE FESTIVAL!
ART & CRAFT SHOW: Shop over 50 vendors at our art and craft show and enjoy demonstrations such as chainsaw carving by Elaine Foy; chainsaw carving and blacksmithing by John Stow; glass blowing by Grant Robinson of Liquid Monkey; rocket stoves by Paul Jackino of Paul's Rocket Stoves; and weaving by the Harmony Historic Society. Some demonstrators will be auctioning off a piece in a 50:50 raffle to benefit an area charity off their choice.
ENTERTAINMENT: Traditional and original music by Davis & Eng, Josie Huffman, and more to be announced soon! Try your hand at axe throwing with Axcellent Adventures at Panama Rocks!
FOOD: by Lab Press Co. (grilled cheese, soups, and other Lab favorites); Ramsey's Food Truck (cheese steaks, sausage, fries, and funnel cakes); Best of Buffalo by Byron (Western New York favorites); CamaradERIE BBQ (delicious BBQ); candy apples and taffy by Fowler's; cheese from Eden Valley Creamery; sauces from Burning Asphalt; honey from Panama Bee Farm; as well as ice cream, Italian Ice and cookies (by Killa Kookies and Tallulah's Sweets).
COSTUME CONTEST: Dress up for our daily Costume Contest (winners will receive their choice of a 2024 Season Pass or Panama Rocks t-shirt - if you plan to hike please dress accordingly!). Youth costume contests will take place daily at 3:00pm on the main stage (age 0-12). Adult costume contests will take place daily at 3:30pm (age 13+).
FALL & HALLOWEEN ACTIVITIES: Trick-or Treating with our art & craft vendors; Face Painting; build a stuffed animal friend with Plushihut; horse drawn wagon rides (11am to 3pm, weather permitting); and more!
FALL/HALLOWEEN PHOTO SESSIONS IN THE ROCKS: Get a beautiful fall-festive family photo with the gorgeous natural backdrop of the Rocks or get spooky with a custom Halloween set featuring a "Bone Throne" nestled among the Rocks. Professional photos by Hannah Connor Photography. $10 per digital image - first come first served from 11:00am to 4:30pm on SATURDAY ONLY.
