Description
The Erie Downtown Partnership and the ExpERIEnce Children's Museum will host a Kids' Educational Fair from noon to 4 p.m. the day of the eclipse at Perry Square, where there will also be an eclipse viewing area featuring telescopes with filters, eclipse glasses, safety instruction and “eclipse windows” designed by Gannon University students and professors.
- 12 – 4 pm: Children’s Museum at Perry Square
- Meet an Astro Physicist and learning reps from NASA
- Eclipse Solar STEAM Activities
- Learn about the history of the eclipse and what’s happening in the sky in Erie
- Meet with the Strong Vincent students and hear about the Einstein Project
- 3:16: Eclipse reaches totality! Erie will go DARK
You are also invited to head over to the Flagship City Food Hall where:
- Ippa Pizza will be transformed into a total eclipse party zone.
- Special food and drinks at participating kitchens.
