Go-Karts, Putt-Putt and More at New Erie Fun Center

Erie Fun Center is located at Erie Sports Park

Looking for something to do with the kids this weekend?

Head to the Erie Fun Park at the Erie Sports Center! This newly opened park has undergone a complete overhaul and looks beautiful! It's located at 8161 Oliver Road.

You'll find go-karts, putt-putt and batting cages all in one spot. Plus, there's a fully stocked tiki bar for the adults (and slushies for the kids!). We went on a Friday night and a band kept the place rocking from the covered wooden stage, entertaining us while we waited in line at the go-karts and made our way around the putt-putt course. There were also plenty of picnic tables to choose from to sit and relax for a bit.

We all loved the vibe of the place — super laid back and small enough that we could keep an eye on the kids without hovering. The employees were all wonderful too.

You can buy tickets for any of the attractions separately, or get a combo package that allows you to do all three at one price. There's even an "ultimate" family package that gets a family ticket to all the attractions, plus pizza, drinks, and ice cream!

Here's a look at my family's visit to the Erie Fun Park:

Go-Karts

This was the highlight of the evening! My husband and son especially love go-karts so were excited to give them a try. It's a smaller track with lots of twists and turns so we had fun zooming by each other. There are 24 go-karts available, including a few doubles for the youngest kids to ride with an adult. There are also brand new Junior Go-Karts, sized perfectly for the in-between riders, like my kids.

Putt-Putt Golf Course

After the go-karts, we all got drinks (beer for my hubby, an alcoholic slushie for me, and two slushies for the kids!) and headed to the putt-putt track. There are TWO 18-hole golf courses to choose from. The courses are similar, so you can choose either. We went with the one that was less crowded. We were all terrible, but had a great time seeing who could get the highest score. I won't tell who "won."

Batting Cages

You can choose from baseballs or softballs, and choose the speed of your pitches, making this a fun workout for all. We all took our turn in the batting cages, and cheered each other on. No one hit a home run, but we had fun trying!

We had a great time at the Erie Fun Park. It's a great addition to Erie and a fun night out the whole family will enjoy!
