 Here are eight ways to celebrate Independence Day in the Erie area:

💥SeaWolves Fireworks 

Saturday, June 29, and Tuesday and Wednesday, July 2 and 3

UPMC Park

Details: After the three SeaWolves games, fans are invited to enjoy spectacular post-game Zambelli fireworks. The July 3 event will be set to a patriotic soundtrack and a live on-field performance by the Erie Philharmonic Brass Quartet.

💥Lights Over Lake Erie

10 p.m., Wednesday, July 3

Bicentennial Tower, Erie, Pa.

Details: Fireworks, launched from the Bicentennial Tower at 10 p.m., will be visible all along points from the bayfront and synchronized with music that will play on Star 104. Click here for more details about Lights Over Lake Erie.

💥Boro with the Works

6-10 p.m., Wednesday, July 3

Edinboro University

Details: Edinboro Fireworks are BACK this July 3!  Boro with the Works will be a fun-filled community event near Mallory Lake on Edinboro University campus.  Firework display at 10 p.m. There will also be a kids zone, local food trucks and a patriotic performance by the Concert Band of Northwest PA.

🐟Fish For Free Day in Pennsylvania

Dawn until dark, July 4

Erie and statewide

📜Friends and Family Day at Maritime Museum

9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Thursday, July 4, 2019

Erie Maritime Museum, Erie Pa.

Details: Celebrate the commemoration of the adoption of the Declaration of Independence at the Maritime Museum July 4. Free admission to the museum and tour of the U.S. Brig Niagara all day. 🍬Millcreek Township Parade

Starts 9:45 a.m., Thursday, July 4 

Along West 12th Street, Millcreek Township

💥Lawrence Park Parade and Fireworks

10 a.m. to dusk, Thursday, July 4

Lawrence Park, Pa.

💥Corry's Old Fashioned Fourth of July

11:30 a.m. to 8 p.m., Thursday, July 4

Corry City Park

Details: Live music from Bill Beggs and the Dixie Doodlers, Kokomo Time Band, and Happy Days! Hot dog and pie eating contests. Register in advance.  Fireworks at the Corry Legion #365 at dusk.A Corn Hole tournament is being run by the Corry Moose #98. Food and drink vendors will be present.
