The expERIEnce Children’s Museum is celebrating its birthday with not one, but two events!
Starting the weekend off with an adults-only fundraiser, the annual Street Soiree is Saturday, August 7 from 6-10 p.m. between 4th and 5th on French Street in front of the Children’s Museum. An exciting evening planned with local food, drinks of cheer, and entertainment, light appetizers will be served from local restaurants.
Featured drinks include the "Notorious BIG drink.” Get jiggy to the music of Small Town Rollers and DJ Bill Page. Plus, have a chance to win an assortment of great baskets during the online auction. The museum will close at 1 p.m. on Saturday for the Street Soiree.
Tickets for the Street Soiree are $100 and are available through the museum’s website.
A ticket purchase comes with entry to the event, unlimited food and drink, and live entertainment. The party goes on rain or shine, so break out your grunge band T-shirts, scrunchie hair-tie, and choker necklace and meet us downtown for a night of fun!
Birthday bash for all
The museum is also hosting a Birthday Bash on August 8 from 1-5 p.m. that is open to kids and adults! Come and celebrate the museum with face painting by Taradoodles, music by DJ Bill Page, and a show from Danka ‘n Ollie of “Forever Friends.” Plus enjoy free hotdogs, cake, refreshments. The Birthday Bash is included with admission, so join the party and play through the exhibits.

For one weekend only, there are discounted admission and membership prices in honor of expERIEnce Children's Museum's 25th birthday! The museum is throwing back the admission and membership prices to 1995. Don’t miss out on visiting the museum Aug. 7 and 8 for $3.50 admission and a $25 annual membership!
